New to me Thorn arrived yesterday.

I ended up trading away my Thorn MooCaster. Had SEVERE reservations in letting the thing move on but figured it was a trade deal where I got another Thorn in return, so it would all work out. The top on this really didnt do much for me in most of the pictures I have seen of it as far as color went, but now that I see it in person...looks a wee bit better...LOL

and the blue firesun looks bitchin on the birdseye neck....it would prolly be better if the neck had at least a little bit more figuring in it....and if the inlay didnt have all that filler...

This is the one I traded away for it....new owner is crazy excited to say the least...LOL Its a LOT more unique....just couldnt get a long with the tele shape (kept rubbin my fore arm).

Tele + Soldano SLO = something jsut not right for me. DOnt get me wrong, I loved the guitar, but I knew I would like the strat better as far as playing goes. Its not like I went out looking to part with the MooCaster....they came looking for me!! LOLOL

You would have to see the Moo in person to truly evaluate...it is a completely unique guitar.....I have literally had a crowd of people around me checking that guitar out on a few occasions...LOL...and it wasnt cuz of my playing..I can guarantee!! LOL

I'm in love with that guitar!

The combo of the quilt and the blue burst finish is STUNNING.

I could look at that guitar all day long.

If that guitar sounds as good as it looks then the heavens must open up when the guitar is played

The "cow caster" was cool but IMO you got the better end of the deal.
