    Killer tune.

    Being in Northern California all my life, I’ve seen TOP a million times. Always one of the best live experiences and one of the few bands on the planet that makes me forget that I can’t dance.

    I grew up in the bay area and was a hippy stoner prog rock zep lovin' teen in the 70's and I even knew as a kid that there was no badder musicians than Tower Of Power! East Bay Grease you all................

    Yes, just played at our Deco movie theater downtown.
    Didn't go, was gigging rt down the street [club got real busy when the theater let out though] :)
    Sure seen em plenty since the early '70s. Y'gotta love these guys.

    and David Garibaldi is still so great.
    Its almost 50 years since all the drummers I personally knew at the time (musicians who weren't even big fans of R&B/funk) went nuts over Garibaldi and were trying to get lessons with Chuck Brown who had been his drum teacher.

    I think I first saw Tower Of Power when they opened for Aretha at the Fillmore West, one of those shows indelibly etched in my brain.
