Messing around and Misty came out. Not sure if its the right chords or not, but the reverb on this amp is very close to the Brunos. Not as surfy, more hi fi, but stunning. Nothing was added or EQued, and it sounds REALLY good to me. Neck PUP of chambered PRS artist III. (I LOVE this guitar too!) All controls at noon, no bright deep or mid switches on. TwoRock 1/12 sig cab with twoRock 65 speaker. I hope some guys thinks it sounds as good as I do! Playing solo is like walking around naked after you came out of an ice cold bath. NO WHERE to hide! Rough at the beginning, but I get a little better near the end.

That tone and your playing style fit perfectly together IMO.

Nice playing... really enjoyed that! Thanks! :BEER

I love this amp, too. I have the same one, but run through the TR 212 cab with proprietary speakers and it sounds amazing - cleans and drive both. I generally loathe reverb in amps, but this is something quite different as your clip will attest.

Best amp expenditure in some years for me...

    Best,

    Mike

    Hey Tag,
Glad to see you're liking your new amp. We should still get together some time soon.

    Hey Warren,
I am sending this to TwoRock on Monday to fix the loop. As soon as I get it back, we have to get together and play them side by side. Hopefully it will not be long! I am really looking forward to trying yours. :AOK

Those are great amps! I had one for a few years. I ended up keeping my HR deville, and selling the PV, as I liked the cleans more than the PV, but the PV had the better overdrive. I can say for sure that the reverb is no where near the Custom sigs however. Dont you have one?

That's for sure .. the Reverb is just so & so on the Classic ..
No I don't have a Custom sig... maybe I'll go over to Snider's pad one of these days & give it a go ...

Yikes Tag, that was gorgeous! I think that's the most impressive straight ahead standard stuff I've heard from you. Fantastic sound too. More proof as to how versatile the CR Sigs are. The single notes really pop...sounds like there's some compression going on somewhere...a function of the recording? Or do you think that's the natural compression of the amp? Warm and articulate. Did the Artist III come with dragon pups? I thought mine has Artist pups like the II series. Regardless, I don't think mine came with all those notes in it, lol. Let's hear more of this.

Perfect, I'm getting the input jack fixed on mine now. I played it after we talked and I started to really "get it". It's a great amp.. I think you'll really like it.

Wonderful playing, Tag... the guitar sounded very 'alive' and 'present' to me (always hard to describe sound, but hopefully you understand)...

    Oh yes!!

lovely playing and real nice Jazz tone. Reveb much better on this cut. was a little wet for my tastes on some of the previous ones.

Know what you mean about unacompanied takes, but that ones a beaut.

Thanks for listening and glad some of you liked it. I know this type of thing is not appreciated here that much, but I love it. I need to put some serious time into chord melody playing. For me, it is one of the most gratifying styles to play.

Much appreciated both of you! Thanks for listening and posting! It makes me feel really good to know others enjoy my playing. I use to not care. I must be getting old. :(
