Have you seen these Tyler pics. I guess there is some speculation about a high end Variax Line-6 product. But who really knows. I just like the way the body looks.:stir

Deleted because what I said was mean-spirited and lame about a master builder and I felt lame for saying it.

Yeah man. I didn't mean my original post in a negative way. One of my favorite players is an Ibanez it's just easy to play. In anyevent the body style is sweet and that pickguard grown on me after a few looks. Very cool. Let's hope this is a new model.

:agree maybe Ibanez will sue? But the black one on the bench is a good looking guitar. I hope more companies get with the program and design new shapes.:BEER

Is the body two tone black/charcoal (smoke) or is it the lighting? It looks like the forearm carve is different. I am leaning toward it being just a lighting thing but it would look really cool that way IMO!!! I kinda dig the "old" head-stocks myself. There is definitely no doubt what guitar it is with it.

When did he say he was retiring? Scaling back. Taking more time for other things. Just taking orders direct instead of via dealers. That's all he's ever said.

I really want to try one of these but the only thing that is stopping me from doing so is the headstock. It just does not look RIGHT - for me. I am sure they are good guitars but as someone said, "image IS everything" :munch
