Spotted at NAMM 15. No video yet apart from Reinhold talking about it.

I'm not surprised it has switches like the Ecstasy pedals, but it's interesting that the TMB tone controls are gone. Having those is a big reason why the blue and red are so usable with different setups.

Still really looking forward to hearing this one.

I'd like to see/hear it, but the thrill is gone for me.

Ridiculous that they show something at LAST YEAR'S NAMM, the next show has passed, and it's still not out yet. I get wanting to get something 'just right' before releasing to market, but the Blue and Red had plenty of issues (bad switches, noise) and those took almost a year as well.

EDIT: in the previous demo/vid, I thought it was high-gain before even hitting the boost; too bright as well. I see this one has a gain switch with L/M/H (low, med, high?) settings, as well as a presence switch. So that looks interesting.
Still, I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm less worried about timing. I have a red and it's fantastic.

If it turns up sometime this year and sounds good I'm in.

    Thanks for that!

    It's certainly not thin sounding.

Not that it would matter much coming from Bogner...was there a new release date given?

That demo didn't do much for me. None of the texture associated with it's name.

Agreed. Trying to get anything out of a NAMM demo like that is impossible. All the crowd & background noise, low volume operation, crappy smartphone video.....none of it can give us anything close to an accurate representation of just how it will sound.

Wonder why they decided to use up a knob for the boost, instead of doing the mini pots like on the Red/Blue? Either way, count me in! Didn't think this one was going to have the switches, really excited about that.

If he really nails that sound that is early ZZ top, I'm all over it.

Yeah, no doubt about the low quality of the smartphone video... I'm hoping that Bogner or Pete Thorn will do a pro shot high quality demo at some point...
