    Greetings,

I've recently started to play again after about 18 years of doing other things (family, kids, business, etc.). Wow, the information now at our fingertips! This forum is great.

I used to play in a punk band called M.I.A. back in the early 80s in OC (we're playing a few shows now, including a couple of Warped Tour dates), and I still have all my gear from that time:

Late 70s Fender Strat w/Schecter electonics/pups (killer sound!)
    mid 70s Gibson L6
    1984 Fender Tele
1979 Marshall JMP 2203 Master Lead half stack
    1982 Fender Princeton w/EV spkr

and I have a 1983 Marshall JCM800 4210 (w/G12-80) on the way from Ebay, hope it sounds good!

Oh, and I bought some Hearos to try to keep what's left of my hearing. Might have to invest in the pro models soon.....

    BTW, I'm a fan of those L6's!

Yeah, they're cool. Not very well-known.

    Welcome Nick!

Is that Fender Princeton one of the "Rivera era" Princeton II amps?

    Yeah, here are some pics:

I bought the amp used in 1984. It has this crazy EVM 12L speaker in it that is pretty sweet, but not exactly crunchy with this amp.

Cool amp. I'm buying, in the process now, a Champ II. I've been reading about them, mainly here in the forum. A cool little run of amps in the Rivera era, still not fully discovered by the masses, not that they're exactly a secret.
