Not so sure about Jackson, but Lewis seems to have run the course.

I predict Lewis will wait until one of the vikings coaches gets hired away, and resign to go work with Zimmer, then the Bengals will bring Jackson back in as head coach this time.

I'm putting it all on Cam for that game yesterday. He overthrew everything.

Gloat while you can. One and done for the #1 seed is gonna be embarrassing.

    Gloating about what?

Read back a few, it's all gravy. One and done with Wentz would be embarrassing. One and done with Foles isn't even surprising.

How'd the Pack make out without Aaron? How many Super Bowls did NE win without Brady? How'd Oakland do without Derek Carr last year in the playoffs?

    No embarrassment at all.

Losing Wentz is truly a heartbreaker. He looked like the cream of the crop until his injury. Asking Foles, or anyone, to fill that role is a tall, tall order. Especially for the playoffs.

You missed Mahomes...in the incomplete column. He's a #1, threw for 287 today without Hill, Hunt and Kelce and the rest of offense today. In his first start he made the #4 WR Wilson (150 yds) look like an all-pro against a pretty decent defense.

just saw opponents on next years schedule and they will have a tough year. Seahawks losing and not making playoffs is hopefully the kick in the ass they need. time to build offence around Wilson and not the running game. also they must see that offensive line needs to be a huge priority. i think they will be fine as long as they are willing to make some tough choices.

I really thought Arians was gonna be "all that" a few years ago. Man, what happened?

Don't be so sure about Lewis leaving. I think Mike Brown wants him back, but Lewis is demanding more control of the team and decision making, so they're at a stalemate right now.

Injuries and perhaps aging of Palmer. They really did well to finish like they did. There were some who claim Arians was slow to adapt to defenses who were able to game plan against his downfield passing game plans.

Yeah, the Palmer experiment got them to the doorstep, but then fell apart.

I couldn't get around the 12 yr old voice of the booth announcer for the game.

    Good game though

You called it. 2 year renewal for Lewis.

I can't believe it. 15 years of mediocrity and he gets an extension.

In all fairness, I built the list before the game, but you're right.

What's Smith's contract situation? And does anyone take a young Mahomes as the starter in KC next year and deal Smith to a QB-needy-but-good team, like Jacksonville? I dunno, I didn't see the game, though it was against Denver.

Smith is set to get $20 m next year. I hope they deal him but there are Smith fans here too who want to keep him.

I'll say this, Denver played their 1's, they were without Rey and couple of other starters. They took Mahomes out then brought him back in when Denver tied the score, in his first game as a pro he executed a two min drill that drove down the field to kick a field goal. This was the best play of the last drive.

    Earlier in the game.

    Aww well here's more.

Fair enough. It seems like the NFL has a nice new crop coming in.

Wentz, Goff, Watson, Mahones all look good. Jimmy G might as well be a rookie... low miles. Oh, and Case Keenum...... *snicker*.

Hasn't Jimmy GQ earned bonus points from you yet? The 49ers look pretty good with GQ.

That's why I included him - he might as well be a rookie (or a 2nd year guy).

    Plus, he's SOOOOO handsome.
