Can't believe how gorgeous this guitar is! Arrived this afternoon. I'm a very happy man! Been wanting an LP historic for a LONG time! Love that Tea Burst and the plain top.

Thanks, guys! The original owner kept it in impeccable shape. Save for some "dulling" of the finish obviously due to a buckle, there's not a single ding on it. Apparently, while he tried, he never could bond with the guitar, and kept on going back to his Tele, so he decided to put it up for sale. I played it quite a bit this afternoon and instantly bonded with it. The neck is fat, but not not a baseball bat, and even with my short fingers, I can get around on the neck easily. I anticipate this guitar giving me years of joy! :)

WOW!!!!!!! Just WOW!!!!!!!

That guitar is so beautiful!! You are one lucky person!

I can only imagine the warm, woody tones that thing produces. I can almost hear it just by looking at it lol!!

I love that color! Nice photography on your part.

Congrats on that!

I hope you're able to enjoy that guitar for many years to come!!

That is a VERY sweet-looking guitar! That's a darker burst than what I've seen. It doesn't look like Tobacco Burst.

As for replacing hardware, the pups sound fine to me so far, but the original owner did drop CTS pots into it, so I think I'm covered there. I might consider a bridge replacement, but to my ears, everything's sound great so far.

Yeah, it's a sweet color, they just did it for 2002 I think...

The guitar got really "muffled" with the old pots, caps, when I rolled off the volume.. I got some sorted CTS, and a set of PIO caps ready to go in it, as well as a set of Sheptone Tributes. I'll keep the bridge and tailpiece though...

R8's are great bargains, and I love the fat neck on it!

@GuitarTone - Thanks! My fingers are sore this morning! :)

@jiml - They are a fantastic bargain as the focus always seems to be on the '59's. And yeah, I dig that fat neck. It's beefy without being overbearing. Played a friend's '57 and that neck is like a baseball bat!
