It's a 70's Ibanez Howard Roberts copy. It sound amazing, and looks pretty good, too.

    Those are some wonderful guitars.

That one appears to be a real beaut. Congrats!

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

I went to to visit my Dad last night. I took the Ibanez with me. We plugged it in to his Fender Jazzmaster Ultralight and he fell in love. So I gave it to him.

The good new is that I have visitation rights.

I've "lost" a few good instruments that way...the downside of being a gear junkie in a musical family!!

How does it sound? Is it maily a jazzer, or can it rock as well?

And good on you for hooking up your dad.

That's so cool! I love oval hole guitars. I wish somebody was still making more of them!

Sorry I missed these comments earlier.

It really excels at jazz and blues. Tone wise, it would work for rock, but with a big sound hole - feedback becomes an issue really quick.

Maybe better than great. Even with me playing it.
