Well, I finally got my first actual Gibson Les Paul today. And what a way to start out, a sweet 82 Norlin, one piece body, no chambering, 3 piece maple neck, serious players grade, but this thing rocks and feels perfectly broken in, as a well played 30 year old guitar should. I picked this up in a trade for one of my Hamers plus cash, and I couldn't be more excited. At 44 years old, lets just say its been a long time coming. Fralin PAFs, TonePros bridge and stoptail, Sperzel locking tuners.

And of course, the obligatory pics.

Nice? Is the natural neck finish stock? My '79 is getting there eventually!

    Hey Jim, nice guitar.

As told to me, the neck was chipping away, so the previous owner sanded it down and then applied a few coats of satin finished sealer of some sort to protect the wood. It feels really smooth and comfortable.
