Well I found one of these babies some 9 years ago and ever since, I've loved the way they look, sounds and feel, some have bigger necks than other but I've grown to love them all. I've been after them for 9 years.. Just recently found the latest one, decided it was time for a fam shot.. Love these Japanese ones

Quite a collection. How different do each sound?

I once wanted a particular make and model and found 3 a few miles apart, they all sounded notably different.

They remind me of the Rockettes the way they line up nicely and look so good in formation. Looking good, ladies!

I have an Alvarez Yiari Bob Weir model OM cutaway. Love it!

So in what way are the different? They all look like the same body style and tone woods , but it's hard to tell from the pic.

Yeah they are all the same model, dont really know the reason, but some have a darker sound than others, and some have fatter necks than others. I also have them set up with different brand of strings and gauges, just for fun...

I have seen guys who own 20 Strats or Les Pauls but this is a first for me of ever seeing someone own 8 of the same model acoustic. As long as it makes you happy is the only thing that matters.

I'm shocked by the color variety among so many of the same guitar models. Very interesting.

Short scale.. It wasnt really planned, I had one and loved it, then couple of years later, found another one, then another, all of a sudden its 8 :dunno.. And well these are 40 year old guitars, so it's not like I just ordered them from sweetwater.. I'm in west Texas and some were found far north east, and some way out west..
