All I can say is I am so excited to have this guitar. As a few of you know I made a tough decision to sell my custom spec'ed Classic. I loved that guitar and it has seen a lot of miles over the years. Ultimately I have found that the Happy Medium neck is just a bit too thick for me. The Even Taper neck is just my thing. I swear that shape was made for my hands. I used to not care so much about things like that but I am finding the older I get it seems to make a difference with my playing.

That aside, I have been on the lookout for a T style guitar. It seems everything I found was missing something I wanted (which is why my other 4 TAGs have been custom spec'ed). I was on the verge of calling up Roy to spec another when I decided to check my local shop. They had what I wanted to a T (pun intended). The finish, body wood, Even Taper short neck (vintage tint), etc. I am so happy as my band has been playing more classic rock (think Eagles and Steely Dan) and this does it. Thanks again to Tom and the team for building another winner for me! Clips to come.

That finish with the pickguard is awesome. They mix really well. I too have a pretty fat neck on one of my teles and is starting to bother my wris and thumb. Hope you enjoy it for years to come.

I just got an Anderson Tele with the oversize Happy Medium neck from Matt's Music, and I'm delighted with it. The feel and the finish are amazing, and it has that classic Tele versatility with some extra tonal options. Enjoy the new guitar!
