Well it's supposed to be burgundy but it's really purpley (is that a word?). However, I am super impressed at how good a guitar this is. I bought it to take on a trip with me as a knock around guitar but I can't put it down. It has amazing ring and sustain, great fret work, a very comfy neck, heck even the pickups sound good. I also picked up a Line 6 Sonic Port VX and man am I having a blast with that thing but that's another thread. Check it out!

They are ridiculously good guitars, aren't they? I'd take them over some American Standards.

Sweet looking Strat. The Squier line has gotten really good. Probably the best bang for the buck bolt ons these days.

Nice guitar. The colour looks a lot nicer in your photos than on the various online stores.

    I love BMM.

After a setup and some new strings it is scary how good this thing is. The truss rod is a little spongy feeling but it works well enough and I have the neck almost perfectly straight and the action is stupid low and it still rings like a bell. Way better than some American Standards I have owned setup wise. I am very nicely surprised! :)

I don't know what it is but I've never been able to get used to painted headstocks on fender strats or teles...looks perfectly fine on other guitars but not fenders..weird....

Ooh I like the Candy Red. The Sherwood Green looks pretty cool too. I may get that one when I get back from my trip next week. :)

Beautiful Strat in BMM! What a lot of guitar for the money. Matching head and everything.

Do you know I'm most impressed with the smooth transitions from the face of the body into the roundover. Looks more vintage correct than most MIMs you see.

    Congrats!

Looks great. They are really great guitars I think. Almost got one just like yours but decided on a Simon Neil squier instead. Enjoy.

These Squier CV 60 strats can be pretty dang good guitars. I've got one that I purchased the body and neck separately from the same seller so I'm pretty confident they are a matched set. Seriously nice sounding and playing guitar. I told myself I was going to sell it after I put it together and it's been almost a year now.
