The silence is deafening
Here we go again......
At least he is reliably unreliable
Glad to see Ian is doing some work and finishing guitars. I know for a fact there have been guitars delivered that were ordered well after I placed my order.
No response from Ian for weeks now...
I've been traveling for thanksgiving and got the flu while visiting relatives. Actually the wife and kids did as well., one at a time..We've all been down for the better part of a week. Ian asked for a couple of days as he was covered up with family in town for the holiday as well. He has promised me updated pictures today.. Fingers crossed. ..
congratulations! There is (hopefully) light at the end of the tunnel! She's a beauty. I hope you enjoy her!
What does Ian tell his family that he does for a living? How did he not know that Thursday was Thanksgiving and not know that he had family plans?
Thanksgiving only happens once a year, so it was easy for him to forget which day it was this year
If this is the same guitar that was ordered in 2012, what’s a couple more days?
I suspect that's how @Ian Anderson thinks
Heck, for that matter, what's a few more weeks, or months, or even years....and don't forget Christmas is right around the corner with more family time
Then there's New Years
Lots of birthdays thrown in
Before you know it, it's thanksgiving again...my, how time flies
See the pattern?
Can we make all Ian Anderson Guitar threads a sticky so folks don't get hosed going forward? As was noted before, if he wants to make them and then put them in the Emporium, fine, just don't let another soul put a so called 'deposit' into his scheme.
If you see it before 2020, count yourself lucky
I got update pics from Ian, everything was where it should be but the color wasn't quite what I was looking for so Ian is going to respray the top. This was just a simple miscommunication between Ian and myself. he said he should be able to take care of that tonight. Not a big deal.
I hear photobucket is no longer cool to use, what is everyone posting pictures with now?
Back to bed for me...
IMGUR works well and is free.
I like postimage.org -- and congrats on your guitar hitting a key milestone.
Shutterfly is pretty easy to use.
So is he simply spraying over the existing finish or is he properly sanding it down and building the finish back up? Will it be a re-finished new guitar? Huh?
Five years in and the finish is incorrect?
He can't over spray to a lighter finish, which is what I want, So it will have to be a new finish. It was just a simple tomayto/tomato (weird thing to write out) misunderstanding. Not a big deal.
