I just wanted to show you all two new Tele Partscasters that I just got finished putting together.
First is an Esquire for my dad. It's a double bound black Tele GXP body from guitarfetish. Everything was cut perfectly, and lined up just like it should. It has a fat AllParts neck, vintage style tuners, wilkinson bridge, and Duncan Broadcaster.
The other guitar is a bunch of things thrown together that I had laying around.
The body is a black double bound that I had from Rondo Music. The neck is from an old 70's Zenon.
It took some work to make these two go together. :)
It's a super fat and nice Vee shape.
The neck pickup is a MIM Strat pickup, and the bridge is a Gretschbucker out of a 5120 electromatic. The bridge is a mustang bridge, and the trem is a Jazzmaster style that I got from guitarfetish. I angled the neck pickup to try to get rid of some of the muddiness that comes with a ceramic pickup, and it works great. Chords are really defined on it, and it doesn't lose too much of the Strat neck pickup sound.
All in all, they both turned out great! Hope y'all enjoy!

I'm tempted to get a GXP body but read somewhere that the neck holes didn't line up properly. It's good to hear that yours worked without any issue.

That guitar tickles me and I'm not sure if it's in good way or not, lol.

    How does it sound? Play?

    Wow! Thanks, yall!
Woodbury, we read that, too, but didn't have a problem with it.
Oth; I got a gxp Strat body that's neck pocket was too shallow.

Everyone else; it tickles me too. Haha
It's a fun guitar to play! It's gonna be my dedicated Open G guitar, I think, maybe.
The pickup combo works really well together, and I LOVE the slanted Strat pickup. It takes all of the muddiness away when playing chords. I'm really diggin it.

I almost didn't click on the thread because I figured it would be another run of the mill Tele. but wow! I have to admit, the one on the right qualifies as "Crazy"! Really nice job on a unique build! And yes, the Esquire is bad to the bone too.

The unique Tele came out nicer than I expected, actually. It's just so fun to play!

Bluesful, the scale on the guitar on the right is 25". Right between a fender and gibson.

Hahaha killer pic, your name here.
