Thought I'd share my NGD! Ordered this Edwards E-LP-98LTS in Vintage Honey Burst from katanaguitars.com last week, and it's here! I was pretty stoked. I just dialed in some good settings and recorded a little clean clip on my iphone. No pics yet, but hope a video will do!

I came from a Agile AL-3100, and though the pickups are different, I was immediately struck with how open and clear it sounded. I never got this kind of tone on the Agile.

I'm going to swap out the bridge JB for a SH-55b. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to swap out the SH-1n for a SH-55n just yet. It's not too bad.

I have the same Edwards and I still love it 4 years on! It is the yardstick by which all others are measured.

    Congrats!

What is the neck profile like on those?

    I believe it's a '59 neck - between a '50s and '60s neck from what I've heard. It's very comfortable.

I would love to have an Edwards, no more heavy LP's for me.
Nice looking guitar there, and nice sounds too :p

Are you inferring that the Edwards are consistently lighter than a Gibby, or just that yours is?

I was wondering the same thing, my Edwards E-LP-98LTS LP Custom weights 8.5 pounds.
