I didn't have a guitar with 2 "normal" humbuckers and my GAS got the better of me when I saw a blemished 2018 ES-339 on sale. I also have a 2018 ES-330 which might be my favorite guitar, and the ES-339 feels similar in the hand. They are both "rounded C" neck profiles which I really like. The MHS II pickups sound... like Gibson humbuckers. I haven't played a guitar with PAF-style humbuckers in many years, but these are about what I was expecting. Both guitars have minor quality control issues, although this guitar has fewer flaws than the ES-330 did. I'm happy with my purchase.

    I would've rather gotten one with a Bigsby but I couldn't find an ES-339/336 with a factory Bigsby. I am thinking I'll put a B3 on it.

I have an '18 in the Antique Walnut finish, and I'm amazed at the voicing/clarity of those low-output MHS II pickups in that body.

Beautiful guitar. I love my 339. Best new model from Gibson in 30 years.

I love the 339's, way more than 335's. So fun to play.

339 is my #1. I put Lollar imperials in there and the guitar went from quite good to amazing.

It does feel great. Honestly the "Rounded C" neck is terrible--it has kind of ruined other neck carves for me.

I like mine a lot. I put a B3 on it but I rarely use the B-3 and wish I had not. 339 is light weight which is great for gigs - and sounds great through old Fender amps.

    Very nice.
I myself have gotten very good deals on a few blemished guitars. And in most if not all the cases the blemishes were very hard to find
