Sweet guitar man! Congrats!! She's gorgeous!
Hot damn! That's got me wanting to Bigsbyize my Edwards. I just read your other thread. You got that thing for one hell of a deal. What's the name of that pawn shop because that dude is a straight up sucker!
Lovely! Congrats and enjoy.
Now I see why you could not say no.
Congrats; A real beauty
Consider me envious. That's exactly the 355 that I've wanted for a few years now.
Congrats and enjoy!
Yep, it was a good deal.
Over the last couple years, I amassed a GAS "warchest" by selling off equipment from my prior hobby which was woodworking and also from hoarding bday cash and so forth. This gave me the fuel to piece together a PA and other equipment. This also gave me freedom to do what I wanted with the cash with no consequence from the wife. Unfortunately with this purchase the warchest is now tapped.
It's amazing how things work out sometimes. I had never played a semi-hollow body but was always intrigued to the point that I considered buying a moderately priced Epi, Ibanez, etc.....used of course. I never considered an ES355. When the pawn shop pulled this guitar from the back room, I really did not know what it was besides the obvious. I though it was a ES-335. Anyway, I left, did my research, got input from you guys and the rest is now history. I am not a big fan of gold hardware but the ES-355 wears it well!
I've got a 335 that has gold hardware.
I too am not fond on the gold but it does work well on the 335.
So well that it seems appropriate.
