I've wanted an Explorer in Natural Burst for years! This arrived the other day, I bought it from another forumite. It's a 2001.

I'm jealous. Very nice. Just out of curiosity, what did it set you back?

I have a pair of J.M. Rolphs '59 Pretenders I've been saving for years, because my other Gibsons are gold hardware. I wonder how they'd sound in this, they're virgin, and I wonder if I should save them for a nickel Les Paul.

I have also been thinking of an EVM Seymour Duncan for the bridge and something else for the neck. But I will live with what's in it as they're not bad at all.
