1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

As promised, following my post on Clapton vs. Standard vs. Deluxe, I settled for this one because of the neck and the S1 switching.

It's definitely a players guitar (you can see some of the dings on it as well as scratches on the fret board), but hey, guitars were made to be played!

Is that neck quarter-sawn! If so you got a little something extra there. Nice guitar.
I love my V-neck. It regularly forces my EJ Rosewood to stay home.

Thanks! What is a quarter-sawn neck?

It's the way the cut the neck....as it's supposed to be more stable, and it eliminates the Skunk Stripe!

    Nice guitar.
Those frets look huge , wonder if they are 6150 jumbo frets.

I wish Fender would do this finish/tinted neck on the regular American & American Deluxe Strats. The tinted neck looks great with the 2-tone, but you had to get a V-Neck to get that finish.

Congrats on a fantastic guitar!(just like mine)

Missed your prior threads. So yours has a V neck? Also I noticed the tuners are diff than mine that have the Fender F on the covers. And mine has the skunk stripe.

    HNGD!

Nice guitar. Just a shame Fender don't contour the transition from headstock to neck better. (My 1998 Dlx is the same in this regard.)
