Not usually one to post NGD threads, but this thing has got me smitten...

Special run Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster (light relic) reissue by Wildwood Guitars from 2012. A hair over 7lbs. in a beautiful Sonic Blue.

Came with a black guard which I thought was butt-ugly on the guitar so I swapped it for this white one which I think makes a world of (aesthetic) difference. Also threw in some GVCG/Lollar Alnico III's I had kickin' around and boy what a difference those puppies made over the stock Nocaster pups.

    This thing smokes.

Just recently got rid of an '06 CS dual-pickup Nocaster-spec Esquire that was the best guitar I'd never played/owned. Don't know why I did it- I've been beating myself up ever since I sold it. This thing comes close, but I doubt I'll ever play a Tele as good as that one.

hardest solid body guitar to build properly and fender pretty much always nails it.
