I've been wanting a les paul for so long But just couldn't justify the $. Had an epi version years ago but I just didn't bond with it and sold it. I was admittedly more of a fender guy back then but now have come over to the gibson/hb way of thinking. I've got an SG that I love but still wanted to find that Les Paul to bring home.

I debated on MIJ LPs like burny or greco, and almost pulled the trigger a number of times. Well, thanks to TGP emporium, I finally found the one. A 2002 Standard with sheptone pickups and faber aged nickel locking hardware. Let me just say, I'm so totally amazed at all the classic sounds that live in this guitar. Early Clapton, Warren Haynes, Rev. Billy G, etc.

Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble on a bit.

Beautiful. I have a '58 Les Paul Reissue with Sheptones.
Awesome pickups. So clear and articulate you'd almost think they were singlecoils (without them hum of course) but growl when you dig in.
    No muddiness like some humbuckers.

    That's purdy.

Looks like a Historic. I'm sure it plays just as good but not nearly as pricy :dude

Beautiful and nicely appointed. I would have found that one hard to sell especially with those options. Enjoy.
