I snagged this bad boy from a GC in CT. Its a 2005 HAMER Standard done up in 59 burst flametop.
Its loaded with Seymour Duncan 59ers, Schaller tuners, Tone Pros hardware and a beautifulygrained rosewood fretboard inlaid with MOP traps!
It has a pretty beefy 50s neck, more C shaped.
I expected 10-11 lbs, but was surprised to weigh it at 9.3 lbs! The balance is pretty good considering the size of the neck. The action is wonderfully low, neck is perfect, just a frog hair of relief.
The top is STUNNING! The GC picture did not show nearly the amount of flame...i was pleasently surprised!
Awesome tone...i'm not a big fan of 59ers, but they do sound decent in this guitar...i let you judge from the clip. I'm very happy, especially for the price.
