Serial 143. Got if from my buddy who got it here on TGP. It was too much like his R8 so I traded half my stuff and we worked a deal!!!! Whew. It's a beast!!!! Was looking at Heritage, Tokai ect but this kind of fell in my lap and has the beef on the neck (it's good for my hands, long story). Hopfully the pics upload:

Cool, man!! I want one real bad too.

You gonna keep the Stealie on there? Just curious - I don't think it looks too bad, actually. (if I didn't see it, I wouldn't have believed it would have looked that good).

Thanks man!!! Yeah, I actually put the it on there the day after I got it. Long story but I traded my old Les Paul that had the same treatment and I was a bit bummed about losing her (She was a Studio but a FABULOUS guitar) so I thought I'd keep up the tradition.

Yeah, it's definately that. I know some folks don't like the big neck but it's just perfect. I replaced the neck on both my Strat and Tele with Warmoth Boatnecks and the only thing left was the Les Paul and Reverend. Both had good necks but I like haveing the girth. I can actually play it longer without my hands getting tired.

    Awesome axe!

(I love the SYF logo as much as anyone, but I'm not crazy about it on that guitar. It'd be like me painting a UGA hat on the Mona Lisa. Plus, you wanna be sure that the adhesive backing doesn't mess with the finish.)

I have a Haynes LP (#48) and they are absolutely tone monsters. GREAT guitars out of the box. I don't think I'll ever sell mine. Congrats!

    Great looking axe!

How are you liking the added preamp switch? Finding it useful?

Also, i was just watching him play lead on Cortez the Killer with Dave Matthews. Soulful stuff!

Hey thanks man. You know, actually I can't really tell the difference yet. I can tell a change in the tone but it's not really a whole lot louder or anything. I'm going to try it with a bunch of pedals here real soon and see if I can get some tone bleed and then engage the switch to see.

Oh, and welcome to the Gear Page!!!
