And it's pretty. Lightweight (for a LP), frets look new, in fact the whole thing looks new. Neck is fairly chunky, definitely NOT a '60s profile. Gotta get a little touch-up paint to hide the holes where the pickguard screws went.

I like it! I dressed my black studio up with some gold knobs and cream pu rings.

Definitely Pretty! How old is it ?

I've never owned a Les Paul but always loved the tones- and forgot how good they can sound clean .........

I took it out to a jam last night and there are some adjustments needed, and ghod, I don't like the 490/498T combo at all, but my Seth Lovers are here and I'll install them on Saturday and start tweaking. My Ellis pups will be a while and I didn't want to have to live with the 490/498T set.

It was fun to play and I enjoy the fact it doesn't weigh a ton, maybe a little more than my Strat but not a heavyweight.

New pic with the Grover clone tuners in. THe Lovers are in, too, but there is no visible difference.

Nice on the Grovers IMO - I may be crazy but I think LPs sound a little better with Grovers compared to Klusons..........

490/498's sound amazing with a good wiring kit. Should have given them a try. I've hated on the 490/498 for years.
