Picked one of these up the other day. I actually ordered it which was a bit scary to order a guitar. I was a bit worried what the store would say if it was a boat anchor and I decided I didn't want it after all.
It turns out that it exceeded my expectations. 7.9 lbs of Pellum blue goodness. Great neck, amazing sound, decent fret work and just a joy to play.
the fret board had some shrinkage and unevenness , but nothing you notice when you play.
And the price. It worked out to be not much more expensive than the are in the states, which is shocking in Norway. Plus I am quite sure that this is the last one in the country in peplum blue.
My first gibson and I couldn't be happier.
