I"ve been really getting into playing the acoustic these days and finally pulled the trigger on a Lowden. It's a 17 year old F25C. Really looking forward to getting it.....

Awesome man! Mine is a 1999 O25c. These guitars have something extra special going on. Congrats! Looking forward to your review.

Lowdens are very fine guitars. Pictures when you get it or we'll heat up the tar and start piling up feathers.

    You're gonna like it.
    And if not, I will!

O-10 here. Sickest guitar I've played.
And everyone else who plays it says the same thing.

Truly an inspiring guitar! The tone right out of the case is spectacular! And for a 17 year old guitar......Just perfectly in tune...Also came with the LR Baggs Lyric pickup.

I just acquired an 023C. I've been looking for an 010 for years. This is as close as I could find.

Is that strap button where it looks like it is?
That probably needs to go, right?
Kind of a cutaway-defeating impediment, no?
(Don't mean to be a Sally Scrutinizer. I'd maim for that guitar!)

    Sally Scrutinizer....:rotflmao

OP, it looks like it has a cedar top and EIR back and sides, no?

Does the 'C' mean cedar top or cutaway?

    C is "cutaway."
I believe the numeral tells the wood combo.
Lower the number, plainer the wood: mahogany back/sides on my O-10.
Definitely cedar and EIR on this one.
