NGD! Need help identifying pickups

    Just landed a beautiful 1981 ES-355 in Wine Red. Pulled the pickups and need help with id'ing them. Them look like replacements, because they are so clean. They sound great in this guitar!

    Are these 57 Classics or did Gibson put humbuckers in their guitars during this time with a PAF sticker (I know they are not original PAFs)?

    Any ideas?

    I don't think they had PAF stickers yet at that point.

    I think his opinion is that this guitar pre-dates the time when Gibson used humbuckers with that modern PAF label. Ergo, these are not original to the guitar.

    I still wish I knew what they truly were though?
