NGD! Seagull Maritime

I've been looking for a new acoustic for a little while, as the fretboard on my Takamine is a bit cramped. The nut is 1 and 5/8" and my hands are just too darn big. I'd tossed around the idea of an Epiphone Masterbilt, maybe a Blueridge, or just saving up for a Taylor. I'd almost settled on an older Seagull Folk when this Maritime popped up on the local CL. With a nice hard case and LR Baggs Element pickup installed, the price was definitely right. I set up a time to check it out and pretty much instantly just loved the way it it played. I'm really blown away by how much guitar I got for the money.

Nice the headstock binding is very handsome. The Element is such a great workhorse pickup. I imagine you might. Price it adding a bit of low end.
The Seagull neck width is really nice.

The neck is great. Been playing the guitar all morning.

Only thing that confuses me...the top is supposed to be spruce, but this seems like cedar to me.
