This. I was lucky enough to get in queue. I really don’t care if it’s 3 years from now.

    Suhr is awesome

I thought the message is they will all be done by fall 2019, so worst case wait is 6-8 months wait. @Husky could sell more if he went with 150 and possibly 200.

Hmm. I don’t recall seeing or hearing that. The way I look at it... there are only so many hours in the week... hard to run a company, work on special guitars, be on forums, promote, define strategy, etc.

    I can wait.

Well, isn't Fall 2019 the original plan to ship Aura but now it would take longer than one year(after Fall 2019) for all the Aura reaching customers?
So the worst case wait is...

I think the answer is the guitars will be delivered when they are done without compromise to excellence. I have spoken to others waiting for theirs and the wait is worth it to anyone who bought one. I like the idea of seeing them trickle out. It's like Christmas all year, lol. Good times.

Great post that I felt worth repeating. I just want to add I think CaliCaveMan was actually beside himself in the video, so cool to see. Second John Suhr has out did himself with these and that's saying something because everything I've bought with the Suhr nameplate on it has been a cut about.

Ha, I totally was beside myself. I still am every time I pick it up and play. It’s rediculously smooth and easy to play. John makes a plek job look average. He’s that good.

Suhr is quickly becoming a brand that does it all ... great amps, guitars and pedals. What other company is crushing it on all levels like this?

I'd like to see them come up with a full blown ORIGINAL design and style ... a guitar that is instantly recognizable as a SUHR guitar and not just a Suhr brand on an iconic design.

Yeah and Suhr actually pushes the envelope, he takes something that’s good and makes it great.

I don't think they're really pushing the envelope ... they're an incremental kinda company. But they do that really well.

Mesa pushing the envelope and so did Paul Read Smith ... Fender and Marshall did it.

Suhr needs an ORIGINAL design that creates a new iconic guitar, IMHO to take it to the next level and be the "pushing the envelope" guitar company of our current era.

Does the modern count? I kind of thought Ibanez was trying to copy Suhr's Modern with their AZ series.

    I can’t do much more than 2-3 a week.
I personally spend at least 2 days on each one between staining, fretting and final leveling all done under string tension. I’m in the 20’s now with one or two stragglers.

The modern is so recognizable that you can pinpoint the current trend of some brands to the fact that they want a piece of the market suhr created with the modern.
The AZ like has been mentioned. The new charvels, etc.
