Are we talking the DC resistance on the pickups or the price tag?

I assume price. Isn't the Thornbucker plus bridge 8.3?

    That's the price they're referencing.

    Thanks a bunch!

It's a neck TB and a TB+ in the bridge. The pickups sound so good to me. I had no idea and how great they would sound, but I just trust in the builder and the pickups are top notch. Congrats have to go to @sinasl1 too as those were the set of ears approving the sound these great pickups. Frankly, every Suhr pickup / combo I have sounds wonderful. ML's, V60's, SSH, SSH+, SSV's, they all sound wonderful. Imagine demo's coming from someone who can really play like Pete. He will have one, count on it. Oh, and Pete, it's your fault I fell in love with Suhr guitars, I learned about them from you, so yeah, another notch in your belt.

Really beautiful. I wonder if @Husky has any plans to offer a wraptail in the future as well. I know a TOM is the classic recipe but Collings certainly found a way to make a classic-looking wraptail with spot-on intonation.

I'm a Fender guy, or at least S and T style guy but i gotta say, I want that guitar. Not one like it but that one. Sorry if that's wrong. Seriously bro, congrats and your noodling only confirmed that it plays as good as it looks.

I have a double cut Collings and great guitar. I have thought about this (I played Juniors most of my life) but it’s a different neck angle which changes a lot. If I did it would be a different version. One thing I paid great detail to was to make sure the bridge was not jacked up off the body.

Dude, thanks for the compliment man!

I'm really excited to hopefully hear some way better kick ass players go to town like Pete Thorn (we all know how good he is), Ian Thornley (yeah I have a man crush), Doug Aldrich (we saw a little clip that was killer tone on IG), Mateus Asato (the namm clip, awesome), Lari Basilio (man she's good), and the list goes on...I'll keep practicing and dreaming about being as good, but those folks and many others obviously, would do the Aura justice!

I think I'm gonna have to go trifecta now though. Suhr Guitar?....check,,,,,,,,,Suhr pedals?........check........Suhr Amp?.....ugghhh,

PT15 IR,,,,,,I see you winking at me across the room, you naughty 3 channel beast!

I gotta sell some stuff again,,,,,,,,,LOL!

Well, GIBSON never worried about neck angle in the 50s, so why should YOU??

    Sorry, couldn't help myself.

John, if you ever built a set neck doublecut Jr-style wraptail guitar, MY HEAD WOULD EXPLODE. That would be amazing. I'm just saying. The Aura looks incredible, and it's a real showpiece. But an all-mahogany wraptail workhorse with an uncarved top and a choice of either humbuckers or P90s (or maybe a mix?) would be fantastic.

I know you probably get tired of us TGP guys saying "Hey, why don't you make one of these" all the time. I'll stop now! (At least for this thread)

It's funny... I just went full on Kemper Power Rack into cabs. Sounds great at rehearsals. I'll probably do a PT15IR when it comes out. That thing is just packed with goodness. No, with greatness.

    Thank you!

That dog is one ball fetcher. She loves to fetch. As soon as I wake up in the morning, she pounces on me gives two seconds of affection, then drops a ball in front of me. If I don't play ball for a bit every morning and afternoon she will whine. It's adorable actually!

For myself, I can't justify such a pricey guitar, but if I was to spend that kind of money, I'd definitely spend it on a guitar vs. a trip. You can't play a trip, and you can only reminisce about a trip after it's done. A guitar gives pleasure much, much longer. YMMV, FWIW, OMGBBQ.
