Thanks a bunch!Haha....all the "dat case" stuff is so TGP
The tones are very single coil like in parts of the demo.....got me looking at getting some Thornbucker implants for my Low Rent Hobbiest guitars
Are they straight up Thorns, or is the bridge a "plus"?
if i got one, it would go in one of theseI would much rather have my LP style guitar stored in this
than on those wooden cases.
I have a double cut Collings and great guitar. I have thought about this (I played Juniors most of my life) but it’s a different neck angle which changes a lot. If I did it would be a different version. One thing I paid great detail to was to make sure the bridge was not jacked up off the body.
Dude, thanks for the compliment man!I'm a Fender guy, or at least S and T style guy but i gotta say, I want that guitar. Not one like it but that one. Sorry if that's wrong. Seriously bro, congrats and your noodling only confirmed that it plays as good as it looks.
Well, GIBSON never worried about neck angle in the 50s, so why should YOU??I have a double cut Collings and great guitar. It's funny... I just went full on Kemper Power Rack into cabs. Sounds great at rehearsals. I'll probably do a PT15IR when it comes out. That thing is just packed with goodness. No, with greatness.Dude, thanks for the compliment man!
I'm really excited to hopefully hear some way better kick ass players go to town like Pete Thorn (we all know how good he is), Ian Thornley (yeah I have a man crush), Doug Aldrich (we saw a little clip that was killer tone on IG), Mateus Asato (the namm clip, awesome), Lari Basilio (man she's good), and the list goes on...I'll keep practicing and dreaming about being as good, but those folks and many others obviously, would do the Aura justice!
I think I'm gonna have to go trifecta now though. Suhr Guitar?....check,,,,,,,,,Suhr pedals?........check........Suhr Amp?.....ugghhh,
PT15 IR,,,,,,I see you winking at me across the room, you naughty 3 channel beast!
I gotta sell some stuff again,,,,,,,,,LOL!
Thank you!Wow, Adam, that is frickin gorgeous, it really is! Congrats, and here's to many years of enjoyment.
Zuzu cracks me up! What a sweet dog.
Congrats. It sure looks great! And I have no doubt it's a TOP of the heap guitar. Very nice!!!As promised, I'm sharing a video of the new Suhr Aura.
I figured why not do an unboxing video which is a bit more interactive than just pictures.
I have sat down and played the guitar for like 30 minutes and I did record some of that on my phone for kicks, but I don't have that to share yet (actually, its now linked below, if it gets boring, just skip through stuff, I get it). It's noodling, so I don't even know if anyone would care to hear it, but it's there so you can get an idea. I can say this guitar is incredible in every facet. It's light, it's beautiful, the action is perfect, the sound is absolutely killer. This is my first experience with the PT pickups, and they sound awesome!
The wife and I aren't pro film makers, so apologies for some of the camera work.
Suhr has knocked it out of the park on this model! We're kind of used to that by now though....
Ok, noodling link. Just playing around and listening to what this thing does.
For myself, I can't justify such a pricey guitar, but if I was to spend that kind of money, I'd definitely spend it on a guitar vs. a trip. You can't play a trip, and you can only reminisce about a trip after it's done. A guitar gives pleasure much, much longer. YMMV, FWIW, OMGBBQ.Ouch me too.. that’s a hell of a trip to Europe
