Congrats! I have two Classic Antiques, including a sunburst S in HSS. I really love the roasted maple neck on these, so I'm actually kind of bummed that Suhr has changed it to a tinted nitro neck for 2015 onward. :( Although, to be fair, the other changes for 2015 are very cool -- SSCII system and stainless steel frets now come standard.

    Here's a little clip

It's a Garageband amp sim with some effects since I don't have an amp at the moment.

Great tone! Sounds like EJ kicking back, playing a few of his chords!

I am jealous! Got to play a Suhr Classic S at a local store several weeks ago and it played magnificently. It was a bit out of my price range, though. Maybe I'll save up for some day.

This was news to me. Will they no longer be using roasted maple necks? I'd be disappointed if that's true.

Gorgeous guitar! I've played a few of the antiques at a local shop, and they've all been very good. I'm not a relic fan, but I will say that the Suhr antiques are more tastefully done (and believable) than the Fender "belt sander and a wood chipper" models that I see coming out of the CS lately.

Not sure if this is a vow or a statement of fact. I got a Suhr Classic T with a roasted maple neck and SS frets last year. Makes me wish I had that on all my other guitars.

Enjoy your new axe and beware of Suhr-GAS!

I hear ya. While even some of the relicing on this one is a little questionable it's overall not too overdone. The neck is the real star of this guitar though.
