NGD: Teisco WG-2L ******NEW*******Clip added

60's Teisco I had sent to Teisco guru and ace guitar builder/repair/picker Jeff Senn in Nashville. Jeff did a refret, carved a new bone nut, shimed the neck, stripped the finish down off the neck, installed a new tremolo arm( original was missing) cleaned up the electronics and probably a few other things! Plays great, stays in tune, the tremolo is awesome. Pickups are microphonic and super dynamic, touch sensitive. It's twangy, swampy and grungy all at the same time. Hard to describe. I'll try to post a clip tomorrow.

Thanks. I'm currently using a Carol-Ann OD2. Lo-fi meets hi-fi.

I think it is aluminum but not certain. My only complaint? Needs more pick-guard

Which pickups are those? I'm really only familiar with the Gold Foils...but these sound great.

Sounds great, but that has as much to with excellent playing as much as the guitar. All the same I love to see these kinds of restorations that give old guitars new life.

I'm not that schooled on Teisco's but Jeff said there often refered to as "squarepoles" but are similar tithe gold foils.

Love those funky old Teiscos! It seems as though they were always changing, and every one I see seems to be a bit different than the last. Yours is truly a cool piece.

Sounds great. I hear a lot of that Gretsch sound and vibe going on. Nice playing BTW!

I'm really loving this guitar! It really sounds/reminds me of a vintage Gretsch Rock Jet. Only better at least the ones I've had/tried anyway.
