    Hey Guys

Just got this USA Soltero from Norms Rare Guitars. It was rumored to be originally owned by Doug Aldrich. This guitar flat out rocks. Super low and slinky feeling action with 10's. The frets are real large and the ebony board is real nice. The sound is very modern high output but very precise. Has just as much balls as a Les Paul but with a more refined tone. Pickups are supposed to be alnico 5's but I haven't opened it up yet to see what they are. The neck is super cool too has a real abrupt V that tapers down to a C near the body. You never see much about these guitars but they are real real nice. Oh yeah and she ain't bad to look at either. I've been wanting one for some time and the deal I got on this was too hard to pass up. I definitely will be getting one of the white Leslie West import Solteros some time in the future.

I saw that Soltero on eBay. I was ready to bid early and often. Then it was suddenly gone. Disapointing for me as I figured it might be my only shot to reasonably afford one.
Truly great catch there - Congratulations.
Curiosity/envy killing me here - Any way you could divulge your price to me in a PM? If not certainly I understand - thanks

Love the look and feel but plugged it in at a local store and the bridge pickup wouldn't work. They said they'd get it fixed, but I'll go back this week or next and see. Seemed like a great deal and very nice to look at with the cut on top.

I played it yesterday at band rehearsal and it was a flat out rock machine with great clean tones too. It's been a little rough getting used to the uber jumbo frets but otherwise I'm really digging it.

I've been touting these for two years now... they are fantastic guitars in every way... I happen to own quite a few :)

So... are you a USA Dean convert? LOL! Enjoy her.... They are some of the finest guitars available IMHO.

stellar Soltero's! Yeah I like it quite a bit but I'm still a Les Paul guy.

It's real surprising that these haven't caught on more. I do believe the price tag puts a lot of people off.
