Completed my parts Thinline Tele last week:
Body: Alder with flamed maple top. Finished using Amber and Reddish Brown Transtint Dye and Tru Oil
Neck: Warmoth 59 roundback 10-16" radius with big 6100 frets, finished in Behlen stringed instrument lacquer
Pickups: Lindy Fralin Stock Tele +5% overwound
Electronics: Emerson/CTS 250k pots, Emerson paper in oil cap, Gavitt wiring
Hardware: Pretty much all Gotoh. Nickel "In-Tune" series bridge with compensated brass saddles and low profile sides, nickel control plate and knobs. Gotoh vintage style locking tuners, electrosocket jack.
Lightweight at 6 pounds 6.75 ounces
Plays and sounds great, I really like these pickups.

Normally I'm not that into burst finishes or fancy woodgrain, but this looks fantastic.

Congrats on a job well done.

If it plays as good as it looks, you've got a keeper.

Diggity dang that's absolutely off the charts beautiful. The only thing that might finish it off would be a chrome pickup ring for the neck pickup, but maybe not. I'm inspired by what you have done. That's what a "partscaster" should look like!:aok

Your abilities in building your own guitars is only equaled by your supreme taste in finishing and wood choices.
STUNNINGLY amazing. I like it better then some Suhr's and andersons I've seen.

Wow thank you for the kind words everyone! I might do a pickup ring for the neck pickup later on, but it has to be the right one. I'd love to see one that's just pressure/snap fitted into the pickup cavity (so it doesn't extend over the wood).
Happy to hear it compared with a Suhr and Anderson and that it's inspiring!

Very nice, I have yet to complete my never ending Uber Thinline build to my satisfaction but it's quite similar to this one which tells me great minds think alike!

    Looks great, enjoy!

Stunning!!! Normally I dislike F holes and Tele's without guards but that's a killer. I'd hire you if I wanted finish work done!

OP I am just loving that neck. Was it a perfect tight fit or did you have any futzing around to do ?

That one's a home run! Have you always been an overachiever? Kidding. I'm just a sucker for flamed woods.
