I was taking my Lester Vintage Mahogany apart to buff the top and make some other changes like the volume pots that measure 244k and 286k ohms. Anyway I pull the pickups expecting to find Burstbucker Pro's - instead I find a '57 Classic in the neck and a Burstbucker 2 in the bridge. :banana I always thought this guitar sounded better than it should - now I know why. After a shine and some new volume pots & PIO caps it should really sing. This is an '06 - solid baby no chambers - 9.8 lbs of mahogany goodness comin' at ya. :dude

This faded cherry finish buffs up nicely - I use a hand held die grinder with buffing wheels and a speed controller and it works like a charm. I cleaned the buffs of compound I didn't want to fill the grain with white diamond. That would be a real :jo
