I was asked to put this video link here as some folks that saw it have questions for Nick so you can ask Nick questions here I suppose rather than broadcasting his email.

    The video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70Z4vNKfLeA

    Hey guys!

Thanks again for the kind words!

That cab is our standard 2x12 with an Alnico Blue and a G12H30 both from Celestion.

And yes, Nick is a very marketable, not to mention the absolute nicest guy. Look at his smile at the end of the video . . . that's Nick.

    Cheers guys!

    Dan

65 Amps cabs are wired in series??? I assumed they were wired in parallel.... Humm, why series?

Thanks again Dan! Absolutely Killer Sounding Amp, Smokin' player..... Do you know if Midtown Music has a Stone Pony yet?

A couple of reasons that are purely subjective.

1st - I'm of the mind that transormers always sound the best on the highest tap becuase you're using the entire wind so I like to keep things at 16ohms . . . as Vox and Marshall always did back in the day.

2nd - My ears like speakers in series. Both cones jumping at once . . .but it's just a humble opinion, take it with a grain of salt. :)

    Cheers,

    Dan

Sorry forgot to answer about Midtown. I know they've ordered them, but I don't know if they're in stock. Feel free to call David Tiller and find out. We can get one out quickly if need be!

    Cheers,

    Dan

I played this amp last Summer right when it was released at Make 'n Music in Chicago. Absolutely loved it. I actually lost sleep over it because it sounded so good. My favorite amp for that Stones/Faces guitar tone.

Question for Nick- How can I learn to play that well? That clip was awesome.

    Thanks Dan!

I'll give Dave a call. I don't hear a lot of Stones/Faces tone in this clip, but what I do hear is one of the best organic amp tones ever! This IS the amp for me!

I traded Diezel amps with Nick a few years ago. Met him and his father - very nice people. I'm glad he is doing well, and he is a monster player. Very cool, great sounds and playing in that vid.

The amp sounds great. I need to play one!

Very organic sounding to me with just the right amount of breakup.
