Just made my day. What a class act and best golfer ever!!!
Right on both. 75 yrs old & calls one like Babe Ruth. Great stuff!
Met Jack 3 times down in FL back in the 80's. He is a true gentleman. In 1986, when he made the turn on Sunday and charged to the win, I was watching it on TV and jumping up and down in my living room. One of the greatest sports victories, I've ever seen. The other being, Secretariat's win, at the '73 Belmont Stakes. Both legendary.
That was awesome
What a legend. That swing still intact.
what a bad ass. Definitely one of the greatest...watched him and Watson battle all through my childhood. So many great games.
Best golfer ever is right. Would love to see him have played with today's technology in his prime.
I love my signed poster of he and Arnold Palmer 'smoking at the tee'.
I watched him at a few "Bing Crosby" tournaments at Pebble when I was a kid. He was and still is such a badass.
PGA's answer to Frank Sinatra.
Gotta love that guy.
Nobody like the Golden Bear
that was great....
Holy crap, 5 total holes-in-one in the par 3 contest - and it's not the first time it's happened (also 5x in 2002). Blows my mind the level at which these guys play the game. Jack is a national treasure.
I don't even care for golf and I was impressed!
I have his little paperback. Great guide--I think it's from late 60s.
Golf My Way is required reading for anyone who plays golf.
In addition to being the best golfer ever, Jack is also very good at explaining the game at a level amateurs can understand.
I don't play golf. I've never played golf. In fact I don't even like golf.
But man! That was damn impressive!!!
