New Norlin Day! 1979 LPC in ex+ condition. This thing rings like a bell! Used it at rehearsal with the band and I gotta say........absolutely fab Rock Guitar Tones in this baby!!

Very nice! My #1 is a Norlin-era (also 1979) LP Custom Silverburst. I've rarely found another Les Paul of any model, any era, that sounds as good as this one does.

    Congrats on yours!

Frets are low/wide. The neck is very straight so the action can be set quite low......no fretting out on bends. Three-piece maple neck with slim taper profile....it plays very fast!

That '84 is really nice........9.8 lbs, nice looking three piece maple top, nice looking piece of mahogany for the back and neck, medium taper neck, Shaw pickups.....it all adds up to a GREAT sounding guitar. Now, once I get new frets on it......(what were they thinking?)

    30 years in June!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The backstory: two guitars of significantly greater value were just sold......fair is fair.

AHHH! That explains a lot, my wife would also make consessions in that case.
