I just purchased a used Tim pedal on fleebay. Upon inspection I found no serial number on the outside or inside. There is no identification at all except for the "tim" painted on the outside of the box. I'm just concerned I may have purchased a "clone" or something. Does anyone have one of Paul's pedal with no serial number?

    Thanks

post some pics. we'll be able to tell you if its a clone or not. most of it is in the paint finish i think thats pretty hard to replicate unless you spent a LOT of time on it. he also has some craftsmanship stuff going on inside that would point to a legit Tim. of course he could have just not put a serial on one by accident.

The unit is at home so I can't post a pic just now.

The finish looks pretty good actually. The wiring layout is top notch. Being an R&D engineer I'd say it was somewhat impressive. I was just really shocked there was no indication of its origin. Has anyone seen one of these without a serial #?
