Yes... I get what I just said. I have been here a long time (not as long as some LOL) and GAS has finally subsided. I have three fully populated pedalboards and five other pedals sitting on the shelf. Yesterday I bought a CC Dlx for my dedicated Prosonic minimalist board. My boards are now locked down... I like everything they do and they cover all my needs for the amps I have today and the tones I need in my two projects. I also love my amps and not looking to add any new ones.

I have said this once before (like many of us) and almost held to it ... I only PURCHASED two pedals in 2019. I NEED NOTHING! :D

I have to now focus on other areas of my life financially (kids’ college, home improvement/investment, retirement savings, travel etc)... I have plenty of guitars, three amps and a crap ton of pedals. I can play swap ‘em all day long too. That’ll cure the fiddling with gear needs. :aok

This is a focus for 2020... call it a NY resolution, but I will not be swayed! It’s time to play more.

    Bring it!

    :hide

Disclaimer... Trading pedals is another story! ;)

Well, isn't every pedal you buy your last pedal? For a while? ;)

I'm officially saying it as well, I need to take some time with what I've got. Plus I'm out of room on my board. But wait, I do have another smaller board...

For the last two weeks or so I've looked on Reverb and several other places for new pedals to get for Christmas. Didn't have any luck so far, because there is nothing out there that makes me wonder if it might do something better than the pedals I already own.

Soooo...I bought a Two Notes Torpedo Cab M.

The gas may be reduced, you may truly believe you are cured, but there will always be temptation and NEW shiny objects in pedal world. ;)

Ive found I buy about 50% less each year. Eventually that’ll land me on the 0-2 category. I bought 5 last year. At several points over the previous decade I’d bought that many pedals in a week.

Early in the year I thought I had found my last pedal but decided to chase different tone options and purchased quite a few pedals. I am currently building a second (smaller) board and still will have pedals lying around. Gear Acquisition Syndrome is real...

The only way to be cured is to log off and never return. Have your ISP block TGP and all associated forums. Never visit Guitar Center or any guitar shops. Unsubscribe from all gear-related email lists.

    Basically, just move to Antarctica.
