I gave a Baja without the S-1 circuit - just a modern 3-way circuit with a treble bleed - with the original Twisted Tele/Broadcaster set. I recently purchased a fresh new box of '51 Nocasters Custom Shop pickups because I've read so many positive things about them on the Tele forum and curiosity often gets the better of me.

I haven't made the switch yet because I am wondering if it would be too subtle a difference and therefore a waste of time and energy to take the Baja apart unsolder, solder, reassemble, re-string and adjust pickup height.

Any opinions on this would be welcomed especially from people who have actually used both sets in the same guitar.

I've had the Nocasters in two teles (a custom build and a CS Nocaster) and I like them very, very much---lots of clarity and "tele"-ness...teleosity

My 52AVRI Thin Skin came with a set of these, and i agree with this.
