His name is Mattias "IA" Ekhlund from the band Freak Kitchen. (His name is on the big screen behind him in the pic too. LOL)
And yes- he's big into shred-fu and all the kooky harmonics and tremolo work.

Mattias and Freak Kitchen are great! Imaginative and lyrical guitar playing, and I've never heard someone bust out such crazy harmonics. I might post a little clip later on, and give you guys a chance to hear a snippet of his playing.
