How funny, earlier today I was thinking about buying all the DVDs. That was a great show, quirky without being annoying about it.

I watched most of the first 2 or 3 seasons on TV when it first came out. It was OK. Not great.

I sure was in its first run. I kept watching a bit after Morrow left the show but it fizzled a bit from that point.

My wife and I enjoyed popping a big bowl of popcorn, then cuddling up and eating it while we watch the show.

Maggie likes to hunt deer, shoot guns and is pretty hot, I could be happy with her.

Cutting up frozen ancient Mammoth for filets, that show had it's moments

We love that show. Might be time to re-watch from start to finish again.

It was probably the best TV show of all time, overall, till "Joel" left and ruined it.
If you like NE, I strongly suggest you watch Lillyhammer on Netflix. It REALLY reminds me of NE, the quirky characters, frozen small town, yankee outsider star of the show that just works. The only down side is there's only 3 seasons of it :(

No doubt. Janine Turner was incredibly yummy in the day. That aside it was a great show.

Used to watch it at the time, one of my favorites along the Taxi series.
I don't think that all the seasons saw airplay in my country though.

It's not something I'd spend money on, but it's one of the few shows that I might consider watching if I ever find myself flipping channels at 3:00 in the morning because I can't sleep, and for me that's saying something.

I haven't thought about this show for years, but I loved it! What a GREAT ensemble of characters - Chris, Holling, Ed, Maggie, Maurice, Marilyn, Shelly, Ruth-Anne - all messing with poor Joel's head weekly. And the scenery was breathtaking too.

Hmmm, could be the next binge-watch!

I liked it when it aired originally. It lost it's steam towards the end, but then most shows do. And yes, Turner was cuteness personified

We're watching it via Netflix DVDs, over a long period of time, mixed in with Dark Shadows. Northenr Exposure is pretty good, I think we're on season 4 or 5. My girls like it and I find the bitchin 80s queen of Saskatchewan eye candy acceptable, like totally.
