Which new old stock tubes should I go for with a 1965 bf pro reverb?
Where's a good place to purchase them?

Talk to Mike at www.kcanostubes.com. He'll want to know your price range, style of music, and other factors. He's here as Blue Strat.

Perhaps a mod can merge this thread with your other thread, too. Got a photo of your amp to share?

    Thanks JDJ.

RCAs across the board would be fantastic. For preamp tubes, read this. You may be able to save some $$$ by using less expensive tubes in the sockets that aren't critical.

NOS Power tubes are going to be expensive. RCAs would be top pick, GEs (at half the price) are an excellent second which some players actually prefer.

In new production 6L6s, the Groove Tubes 6L6GEs or SED 6L6GCs are good.

RCA's all the way, a real amp like a 65 BF Pro needs real tubes!
