Too bad they were only good for the first five years or so.

Just kidding! I really don't get the Michael McDonald hate.

MM changed the band into something totally different :dunno a pop machine. He was good and a great vocalist, but I liked the first version much better.

MM is a totally great person and a real gent. Met him last year - 2 of my old friends tour with him now. I asked one of them what it's like working with him. His quote "Michael Mcdonald doesn't even know who Michael McDonald is. He's just a guy from St. Louis named Mike"

Great band. I really enjoy them. I've never seen them live, but I'd love to.

He definitely shaped the sound of the band into something new. Great vocalist!

I always liked MM. The original lineup, while good, would have run its course much faster.

Great song. This one and "Takin' it to the Streets" have been favorites of mine for a long time.

The same can be said for every member of the band. Nicest, most down to earth guys you ever want to meet.

I saw them about two weeks ago. They're still rocking. One of the better concerts I've been to in ages. They could have just done the hits, but they reached into the bag, played some deep cuts and jammed.

And yes, they are extremely good people.
