Maybe so. I know he's used a Robert Cray hardtail Strat with the Clapton mid-boost circuit.

Not a huge fan of his music, but he can play. The episode of Crossroads he did with Mayer was pretty good. I am less of a fan of Mayer. Keith smoked him, IMO.
