    Pretty cool pedal!

    I think the only downside for me is how things darken up when dropping down. Something weird happens with the low end too; It's certainly passable, but it doesn't feel 100% like the real thing (to me). Then I remembered Nick Reinhart and channeled my inner glitch and . . .

    Approaching this pedal as a glitch / noise maker with the momentary function - AWESOME. Digitech on momentary (5th down) > Timeline Ice = crazy glitch noises, which I happen to love.

    Dry + Octave is STELLAR. Again, with the TL and doing swells, a very nice faux shimmer sound.

    Build quality: A+++

    Overall, very happy with this pedal. Very decent for drop tuning when needed, but don't underestimate it's capabilities when trying to harness the power of WEIRD.

    I see a Digitech Whammy V in my future . . .

    OP sums up my experience with The Drop, nice summation, I agree 100%...including the bit about getting a Whammy V, which I have and love.
