I got the new Digitech Hardwire Chorus pedal in today and got to try it out a bit. it ever nice. Several modes on it that that offer quite a variety in chorus types but the "jazz" setting is just sublimely beautiful. Really each mode offers something a little different in both modulation and, for want of a better word, "presence."
I have only owned 1 other chorus before so I amp not an expert but I have played through a few Roland JC120s and know the effect can be beautiful. Decided to make my final pedal board (yeah right) and thought I would try one of these and I can't tell you how glad I am I got one.
Tried it after my TIM as well and got some very interesting tones, kind of inspiring I didn't want to stop playing. This is my 5th Hardwire Pedal and I have been just totally suprised by the quality, looks and SOUNDs of all the of them. They are just heavy well built beasts and feel solid. GREAT bang for the buck IMHO!

HardWire CR-7 Stereo Chorus Pedal
With its stereo I/O, the HardWire CR-7 is a chorus pedal offering you 7 chorus effects, ranging from Multivoice and Studio to Boutique, Vintage, and more. Precision control knobs include speed, depth, level and type. True bypass and high-voltage operation are standard features on the CR-7 pedal.

The HardWire Pedals represents commitment to quality and attention to subtle details. In addition to technical enhancements like true bypass and high voltage operation, all HardWire pedals feature rugged, all-metal construction, a wide, stage-stable footprint, durable, custom-machined metal knobs for a sure grip, and precision potentiometers that guarantee knob positions will stay intact.

The rugged, durable construction of Extreme Performance Pedals is just the beginning. Inside each HardWire pedal are technological features that serious players require — all updated and improved to their utmost. True bypass preserves the purity of your original tone as signal passes through the pedal, and high voltage operation further protects your sound by eliminating clipping and other signal degradation caused by power drain.

With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal — normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. HardWire pedals incorporate circuitry that increases the operating voltage headroom above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals benefit a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.
