My friend Keefx made this and traded it to me for a Fuzz Face I assembled.

It was a General Guitar Gadgets TS clone, but he put asymmetric Germanium diodes on one side and really freaking loud LED clipping on the other side. The 3-way switch does either and both. I prefer the germanium side. He also modded it for no mid hump and just a treble cut tone knob.

So it needs a name so that I can come up with the graphic for it. Any ideas? Keith wanted to call it the Tube Squealer and put a pig on it, but I'm not sure that really fits my personality. :stir

How about Odin's Raven (playing on the Baltimore reference)? Or Banshee, since it's based on a screamer...

As names go, Jennifer or Veronica have always been my faves.

LEDs are louder because germanium diodes clip more signal lol.

Odin's Raven is pretty good ... I do kind of have a thing for crows ... They roost in my neighborhood during the winter, thousands and thousands of them. And I rewrote the old English ballad Twa Corbies for my band's last album.

    The Munch-er?

And, um, what's Nolk? This is all I could find ... http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=nolk

I've always wanted to name an OD the "Bachman-Turner Overdrive," or "BTO."

What about LEDfoot? LED clipping and it's an overdrive, right?

It's actually the other way around. Since what's doing the clipping is the negative feedback loop and has NO effect until it starts to clip, the LEDs have a higher breakthru voltage, let more clean signal thru before they start to clip...

Are you a Dire Straits fan? You could go with a (TOL) tunnel of love or a Waltzer, and it would go with your name!

How about "hot mess" or "death or destruction" , "Drain Pipe"? Devil's Doorstep" or Devil's Driveway"? StinkBug? Tru Schemer? BitchFest? Take your pick.
